Summer blockbuster season is definitely upon us. While we’ve been a little swamped and only managed to catch Men in Black III (a very entertaining watch) and Prometheus (still figuring that one out but recommended for Alien fans) so far, but we’ll definitely be heading to the cinema this weekend for the latest releases.

This week’s Bollywood release is Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani starring Priyanka Chopra and our all-time favorite Shahid Kapoor featuring love stories across three different time periods.

Teri Meri Kahaani brings together Shahid and Priyanka after their last release Kaminey. The music is already a hit with chartbusters with our personal favorite being “Humse Pyaar Karle Tu”.

The world premiere of Teri Meri Kahaani will also be taking place in  our backyard at VOX cinemas in Mall of Emirates on June 20th. Don’t forget to head over to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous Shahid Kapoor!

This week’s Hollywood release is an interesting one, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Now admittedly we are fans of anything that has to do with vampires having seen all episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and The Vampire Diaries but the 16th president of the United States as a vampire slayer is still beyond my imagination.

That being said, having caught the theatrical trailer in 3D during Prometheus, I’m very interested in this one. Can you imagine if they started teaching about Lincoln’s vampire battles during high school American history classes? I’m sure students’ grades would skyrocket upwards!
