A few weeks ago I listed out a wish list of beauty brands that I hoped would be available in Dubai soon. One of those that narrowly missed that list was Bliss – and low and behold, Bliss launched in Dubai last week with a kiosk and mini-spa inside Debenhams, Mall of the Emirates.

Founded in 1996 in New York City, Bliss started as a spa that revolutionized the industry thanks to its super-effective services and fun, casual spa environment.

For someone like me who enjoys spa treatments but doesn’t have the time to plan and book an appointment, Bliss products are great. A favorite is the That’s Incredi-Peel glycolic resurfacing pads. I’ve mentioned the benefits of glycolic acid for much-ignored feet but I absolutely love this ingredient for the face too. One treatment with these pads and I feel my skin has a fresh new layer. I’m happy that I no longer need to order these from the United States and are available in Dubai at AED 225 for a box of 30 pads.

Other products worth checking out are the fatgirl range and the body butters. I have a few products in the testing pipeline and will definitely share the reviews once I’ve passed a judgement.
