Gift Guide: Mother’s Day at Lush

For those of you in the Middle East, Mother’s Day is just around the corner (March 21st). Finding mothers day gifts like these are great because they’re unique but if you’re struggling what to get your mum, I suggest you head on over to Lush! If your mum is anything like mine, she prefers organic and natural ingredients instead of harsh, synthetic ones and this makes Lush a perfect place to shop. I pulled together my favorite products from this year’s collection.

For those of you who want a complete gift set, check out A Mother’s Day in Paradise (AED 270), which consists of some Lush favorites and limited edition products including: Secret Garden bath ballistic; Madam Butterfly reusable bubble bar; Mumkin bubble bar; Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner; Dream Cream body moisturizer; and Sultana of Soap.

Now while getting kitchen related items might be risky, you can’t help but smile at The Washing Up Fairy (AED 35 each) reusable bubble bar wand. This product is formulated to help clean dishes and keep your hands soft. And myself and my mum can attest to it smelling fantastic!

And it’s most likely that your mum needs a little down time to pamper herself so why not get an assortment of the reusable bubble bar wands (AED 45 each) made on sticks coming in three gorgeous designs: The Mum, Mum Tulip and Madame Butterfly. These sticks contain a mix of essential oils and moisturizing butter which will instantly create the perfect bubble bath.

And for those of you celebrating Easter, that’s also the corner and I couldn’t help but aww over these bubble bath Easter eggs. Check out the full Lush Easter collection online or in stores.

Cyber Monday – Issue 11 – Yummly

I often wonder what I love more: shopping or food. I tend to plan my weekends and even holidays on the quest for that perfect meal. Case in point my last visit to San Francisco where I had made a list of restaurants to test out 4 months prior to my trip!

Unfortunately, a few months ago, my world came crashing down around me when I was diagnosed with allergies towards gluten, eggs, cow’s milk and coconut.  After pouting for a few weeks, I set off to get my foodie life in check by doing what I do best – research via Google. It was during this phase I came across the recipe site – Yummly. Continue reading
