NARS is one of my favorite makeup brands but unfortunately it isn’t available locally at beauty stores in Dubai. And while you can purchase it on trips to the US/UK, there are certain times you just can’t wait (as I can see from the search results bringing you to the website)! So here’s a few ways you can buy NARS products without ever leaving Dubai:
While Chanel might have the most sell-out makeup collections, Dior’s been putting out some gorgeous collections in recent years. The latest Summer 2013 collection is no exception and is called “Birds of Paradise.” The collection features gorgeous hues of teal and blue and a new product I’m very interested to try out – the Jelly Lip Pencil!

Great news for fellow polish-holics, Clinique has launched a nail polish line!
Just like Clinique’s makeup collection, the nail polish line is created for sensitive skins. If you’re a fan of polish but end up with a skin sensitivity, Clinique’s collection is worth a look. And it’s great to see they’ve dabbled in interesting shades such as bright yellows and greens!

Having the right set of tools, like the trusty GHD hair iron, can make getting perfect hairstyle really easy. But just like our hair needs some extra TLC from time to time, so do our tools.
Think about it, when’s the last time you gave your hair iron a good wipe-down? While you generally use a hair iron on clean hair, the products and serums used for styling can build up on the ceramic/metal plates. This buildup can cause uneven heating and in turn damage your hair.
The best way to clean your iron is wiping it down with a bit of white vinegar. The vinegar will dissolve any oils or dirt accumulated on the plates and leave your hair iron looking good as new!
If you’re wondering why there’s been a dearth of movie reviews on the blog, I’m going to go ahead and blame Bollywood. There haven’t been any big movies released recently and this isn’t surprising considering most movies are lined up for the post-IPL season.
The good thing is the trailers for the summer biggies are slowly coming out and one of the movies I’m super excited for is Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
