Ekta A.A. stands for Ekta After Allergies.
In September 2012, I decided to finally get blood tested for my allergens. I discovered that I was severely allergic to wheat and all types of gluten, as well as lactose, eggs and coconut. Apart from that I was also told to avoid soy for my thyroid levels.
Being a longtime foodie, it’s been an interesting journey since then – breaking old habits and trying to figure out how to enjoy my favorite dishes in new ways.
It’s not been easy and there is still a lot to do but I hope to share some of my difficulties and learnings wherever I can in this blog. Feel free to ask/share your questions/learnings here!
