News: Repetto Launches a Fragrance

If you’ve ever had the fortune of traveling through France, you would notice the French are very particular about their brands. Unlike Dubai or the United States, where high street is full of the same 10-15 names, the French are very proud and loyal of their brands. And they should be considering one of their icon brands is Repetto.

Repetto was founded as a speciality brand of shoes for dancers, where shoes were individually measured and made to order by founder Rose Repetto. The first Repetto ballerinas were commissioned for Brigitte Bardot and became a phenomenal success, which have evolved to the quintessentially shoes we see today. And it isn’t surprising why Parisians love Repetto considering how comfortable and beautiful their ballet flats are.

A few weeks ago, Repetto launched its first fragrance at their boutique in Dubai Mall. Similar to the brand itself, Repetto has created a very elegant perfume featuring rose as the base along with orange, cherry and pear blossom. If you’re a fan of girly but woody perfumes such as Miss Dior Cherie, Chanel Mademoiselle,  or Elie Saab, you’ll probably enjoy Repetto. Soft, romantic but with a kick of sexy is how I’d describe it. This has easily joined my rotation of “signature” perfumes.

Apart from the scent, the bottle itself is a big part of a perfume. The Repetto fragrance comes in a soft pink bottle, the same color as the signature ballet flat with a satin ribbon wrapped around the bottle. And in case you’re worried if the bottle travels well, rest assured the dancer-like curves make it check-in suitcase friendly. It also comes in a sparkly body oil that is great to use on your legs and keeps you smelling fantastic through a long night.

If you’ve always nursed dreams of becoming a ballerina, indulge that Parisian dancer in you with Repetto’s new fragrance. Now available to purchase at the Repetto boutique in Dubai Mall.
