New York Fashion Week is in full force and one of the trends spotted on the runways has been a deep, almost gothic, red lip.
Now if you want to try this look but don’t want to invest in a whole new tube of lipstick, there’s a quick trick to get a DIY custom shade. Just take your favorite shade of red lipstick and mix it with your trusty black eyeliner. The best way to do this is dot your lips with the eyeliner and blend the lipstick on top with a lip brush!
And if black seems to be too harsh, you can try mixing with a deep purple eyeliner instead. You can use this trick to whip up a custom shade of lipstick whenever you want!
