Winter is one of my favorite times in Dubai. It’s finally cool enough to enjoy the outdoors and that of course means it’s concert season. This year was no different with Jennifer Lopez performing live in Dubai on November 22nd. The concert itself was sold out within hours of launching and I was disheartened to be missing out until the team at HP invited me to attend the concert as part of the launch promotions for HP Play.
HP and Universal Music MENA have come together to introduce HP Play on HP laptops and desktops. HP Play allows you to enjoy unlimited music streaming and free downloads from all music genres and is consistently updated to include the latest hits. The collection includes the entire Universal Music Catalogue including international stars such as Rihanna, J.Lo, Eminem, along with popular regional Arabic and Asian artists.
In case you are one of the few without an HP computer, you can still get access to HP Play by purchasing the HP Play retail pack-priced at AED 299 for a year. And all new HP notebooks and desktops come loaded with 12 months access to HP Play already! HP Play is also available as an app to download on your Apple & Android smart phones &
Considering that popular services like Pandora and Spotify are unavailable in this region and radio content is mediocre at best, HP Play is a great service that allows you to legally enjoy all your favorite music content. Visit hpplay.com/me for more information.
Thanks HP Play for a wonderful evening with J.Lo. The 43-year-old actress/singer/performer entertained the audience in the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre with a 90-minute performance including many of her hits: “Waiting for Tonight”, “Let’s Get Loud”, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”, “Jenny from the Block”, and her recent number ones “On the Floor” and “Dance Again”. Apart from her phenomenal vocals, it was Lopez’s dancing skills that had the audience cheering. The singer showed off her physique and that infamous derriere in sparkly, spandex body suits and Zuhair Murad gowns. She managed to keep up with her backup dancers, which included boyfriend Casper Smart, showing exactly how she’s managed to stay strong in her 20+ year entertainment career.
