New weekly feature – we share our top 3 products of the week. We consider these to be pretty awesome but haven’t gotten around to doing a full-fledged review or are favorites from the past.
This week is the Airplane Travel Edition inspired by 16-hour flight to San Francisco! Normally I step out of a long flight looking like a disaster, but this time I needed to ensure I was in top shape for the reunion that was to begin upon my arrival. So in my handbag I packed these three essentials.
First up is the Kiehl’s Lip Balm. Now chapped lips are surprisingly not one of the issues I face often. However, I always find my cuticles and the skin around my nails becomes very dry and peels when traveling. This balm is great for the lips but I love the thick consistency as an on-the-go cuticle cream.
I’ve always been skeptical for these over-priced spray bottles of water. Of course spraying skin with water will be beneficial but do I really need Vichy Thermal Spa Water? Since I had received this as a sample in my Glambox, I tucked it into my makeup bag. Throughout the flight, I would spray my face every time it seemed to be getting dry and my skin felt great upon arrival. The light spray didn’t mess with my makeup and it was much more convenient than rinsing my face in the restroom multiple times. Definitely worth a purchase.
Hand cream is a #musthave for me and you’ll always find a tube of Bath&Body Works Shea Cashmere Hand Cream. This stuff is super thick but not greasy. It makes a great hand cream, lotion and if you’re having a bad hair day, an emergency hair styling cream. B&BW seem to have revamped their hand cream offerings but you can find the same formula in the True Spa Shea Cashmere range.
