It’s no surprise that the hunky actors of Bollywood rule my heart. And while Shahid Kapoor will always hold a special spot, there is always room for more, in this case Bollywood’s new entrant: Ranveer Singh. And he’s back with his second movie, Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl. Check out the first promo of the movie and song “Aadat se Majboor”
Ranveer Singh burst into Bollywood with 2010′s surprise hit, Band Baaja Baarat. Now the same team of producer Yash Raj Films, director Maneesh Sharma, and lead pair of Ranveer and Anushka Sharma return with this romantic comedy.
While the promos and poster can give you a hint why I’m smitten by Ranveer, only once you’ve watched Band Baaja Baarat will you feel the full effect of the Ranveer charm. Let’s hope we see a lot more of that in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.
Ladies vs Ricky Bahl releases on December 9, 2011. Keep up with more information on Facebook and Twitter.
Marilyn Monroe will always be an idol for any fashion conscious girl. Her signature red lip, blonde curls and white dress have been copied by everyone at some point. And now comes the drama, My Week with Marilyn, starring Michelle Williams as the ultimate pin-up girl.

My Week with Marilyn releases in the United States on November 4th, the United Kingdom on November 18th, and hopefully a release in Dubai soon after that. Until then, dressing up as her for Halloween is easy and fun so let your inner Marilyn Monroe loose!
Halloween is just a few days away and if you don’t like to do the typical costume, you might be interested in these:
These gorgeous and creepy lashes are from PAPERSELF, and as the name suggests are made of paper. There is a whole range of intricately cut designs available from this British brand. This particular set is available at the PAPERSELF store for £12.50 or choose from the range of designs from the Sephora online store.
So what do you think of these lashes? Worth buying or just pretty to look at?
The term Cyber Monday was coined to mark the Monday after Black Friday that companies used to encourage people to shop online. Our Cyber Monday column here will highlight spectacular online finds, blogs we love or just our general love for all things digital.
If you have a recommendation for Cyber Monday, let us know!
Cyber Monday – Issue 1 – Boticca
We start our inaugural post for Cyber Monday with my favorite new shopping site, Boticca.com. I first heard about Boticca from Nomz in Dubz and couldn’t resist testing out the site.
Boticca is essentially an online boutique with a wide and varied range of designers from across the world. I settled on ordering a mini shoulder bag from Poupee Couture, which I love for its Chanel-with-a-twist look.
Boticca is full of unique accessories that will add sparkle to your outfits. Their customer service is great and their Twitter team is uber-friendly! Visit Boticca to view more of the clutch bag collection as well as more jewelry including their earrings for women and gold ring selection. So go on, order your first item and don’t forget to register – they’ll toss in a 10% discount!
Elie Saab unveiled his Spring/Summer 2012 line in Paris a few weeks back. And even though I’m a little late, it’s never too late to drool over his gorgeous designs. If I was a celebrity, I would never look beyond him for red-carpet dresses.
The collection was named “Color Shock” and had glimpses of the colors of the season: mustard and sapphire. I picked out my favorites. Which one is yours? Or are you part of the minority who think the designs are overrated?
